In close cooperation with Franklin Offshore and DNV, SAIO has developed a 3-day Rigging & Slinging training. This theoretical and practical training is not only meant for operational personnell but also for engineering and purchasing staff. This training will cover all aspects of Rigging, Slinging en Mooring, such as Knowledge of materials, Selection of equipment, Load calculations and safe use.

With the STC Group as strong partner, STC-SAIO is developing from a provider of basic Offshore & Maritime training to a full service provider for Oil & Gas & Shipping. STC-SAIO is expanding fast. By the end of march (2011) our new Helicopterdeck, with training-heli and Free-Fall lifeboat will be installed at our trainingcenter. You are more than welcome for a guided tour.
The STC-Group has acquired 100% of SAIO offshore training, re-labeling it: STC-SAIO Offshore. In addition, the STC-Group take a share in SAIO Onshore.
The STC-Group is an international training & research institute for the Shipping, Transport and Port Industry. As the only truly recognized institute in this area in the Netherlands, the STC-Group achieved an important step in its development with the acquisition of SAIO Offshore Training. The acquisition fits into the strategic policy of the STC-Group which aims to strengthen the knowledge infrastructure for the (important) Dutch maritime cluster.
The STC Group will strenghten the market position of STC-SAIO with investments and support.
A lot of our course attendants come from outside of The Netherlands. Depending on (public) transport and coming through Schiphol or Rotterdam Airport, the ideal location of SAIO combined with our punctual shuttle bus service, makes life easy ! Centrally located in the Heijsehaven in Rotterdam, SAIO Safety Training & STC-SAIO are very easy to access! We provide training for practically all work in the Industry, Construction, Offshore, Shipping and Logistics.
